Spilling teardrops on my pillowcase
My mascara always goes to waste…
So this happened. Lol. Sometimes I find something that inspires me to go in a completely different direction than what I normally look like. This wasn’t even the first look I started with – I tried all colorful and pretty, complete with pink freckles, but in the end, I settled on my darker side.
Sometimes there are those things you’re feeling that need to be manifested. And I think that that’s something that P/people in my RL will never understand – that manifesting them here in SL is a lot safer, healthier (sometimes), and easier than in RL.
After all, if I were to do all of this to myself in RL… first of all, those ear enhancements would hurt like a bitch, then the tattoos would be permanent. I’m not that good at makeup, so my eyes would not look nearly as flawless as Dotty’s Secret makeup allows them to be… and I’ve dyed my hair black once before, never again. It’s so hard to get back to my natural blonde, it’s a mess.
Needless to say, I can make all the cosmetic changes to my avatar that I want to, and in the end, just revert it all back when I’m done. It’s brilliant.
But lately I’ve been connecting with O/others who have Bipolar and/or Borderline and that impulsive need to change – that usually manifests in the form of dying and/or cutting our hair lol – is something that a lot of U/us share in common. To the point it’s meme’d constantly.
It’s been nice to not feel so alone sometimes.
And to have my little doll to play dress-up with. xD
