i promise i’m not dead. Though my ISP might be if they keep having DNS issues that result in me needing to use a mobile connection to login and actually get work done. -.-

Anyway, today i was hoping to share a bit of a work-in-progress kinda poem that i’ve been toying around on for the last little bit. It is nowhere near done, i don’t think, but meh… it’s a start.

The human mind is a wonderful thing.
Remember that.

They say the mind is a terrible thing to waste.
But what if what they really mean is a terrible thing, a wonderful thing to waste.
Lay to waste.
Perpetuate
The ache
And break
Apart the fake
Berate, a way to complicate
But wait… wait…

He pulls me close against His chest and tells me to be still
But will
It ever cease to feel like everything is screaming
And demeaning me
Will we
Create some symphony
Or synergy
To be
And fill the space between
The pages drenched in life’s sanguine
From me.
Poured out freely at His feet.
But wait… wait…

Wait.
He tells me, “Wait.”
Probing gently to my most sensitive place…
Weaving His way
Into my mind…
A wonderful thing.
Such a terrible thing to waste…
Wait.
He tells me, “Wait.”

Usually when i credit in here, i’ll list what something is, and then what it’s called. Like, “Dress – Susie Dress (Teal)”. In this case, with all the different furniture and clutter, i’m just going to list what everything is called and where it’s from. i don’t need to tell you it’s a book, you can very clearly see that. *laughs* i hope this list isn’t too terribly confusing.
