How do you prepare yourself to have your feelings taken for granted… again?
How do you prepare yourself for the notion that – once again – you were a horrible judge of His character?
I told myself that I should have expected it. That I should have remembered what I always tell others: “A tiger doesn’t change his stripes, and neither does a weasel.” So how do I admit that I didn’t expect it? That it hit me out of nowhere? That he broke my heart… again?
